Edit or Delete a Custom Field - NEXGEN 311

Custom fields are fields in NEXGEN 311 that can be customized to obtain more information from your 311 Portal users. These fields in the Custom Fields section of the 311 Service settings and are applicable to all service request submission forms. If you find yourself wanting to change or delete these custom fields from your portal, you can do so in the 311 Service settings.

Navigate to the NEXGEN 311 Settings

To get to the Custom Fields section of the 311 Service settings:
  1. From the NEXGEN dashboard, click "Settings."
  2. Click "Integration."
  3. Click "311 Service."
  4. Click "Custom Fields."

Edit a Custom Field

To edit an existing custom field:
  1. Go to the Custom Fields section of the 311 Service settings.
  2. Click the pencil icon next to the custom field you would like to modify.
  3. Adjust the fields in the menu that appears as needed.
  4. Click "Save" in the bottom right to save your changes.

Delete a Custom Field

To delete a custom field:
  1. Go to the Custom Fields section of the 311 Service settings.

  2. Click the trash can icon next to the custom field you would like to delete.
  3. Click "Delete" to confirm.
