Add a Photo Attachment to an Asset - Asset Inventory

You can add attachments to records in NEXGEN to provide additional photos to people who view them. This is useful for providing reference images for other users.

Navigate to the Asset Inventory Module

To navigate to the Asset Inventory module:
  1. In the top left of the screen, tap the three line icon to open the navigation menu.
  2. Tap Asset Inventory.

Add a Photo Attachment to an Asset

To add a photo to an asset record:
  1. Navigate to the Asset Inventory module.
  2. Locate and select an asset to open its record.
  3. Tap the Attachments tab.
  4. Tap the upload icon to take a new photo or upload an existing one.
    1. You can also tap the three dot icon in the top right of an asset record to add an attachment.
  5. Enter a new image name and select an image size, if needed.
    1. We recommend changing your image name for the sake of clarity. Note that you cannot change the image name after it has been uploaded.
  6. Tap Save.
