Attach an Asset to an Existing Work Order - Asset Inventory

If you already have a work order created and want to attach an asset to it, you can do so using the method below. This method is useful for those who like to locate their assets in the asset inventory rather than add assets onto a work order directly.

Navigate to the Asset Inventory Module

To navigate to the Asset Inventory module:
  1. In the top left corner, tap the three line icon to open the navigation menu.
  2. Tap Asset Inventory.

Attach an Asset to an Existing Work Order from the Asset Record

To attach an existing work order to an asset record:
  1. Navigate to the Asset Inventory module.
  2. Locate and tap on an asset to open its record.
  3. Tap the three dot icon in the top right.
  4. Tap Existing WO.
  5. Search for and select a work order to attach.
  6. Tap Save. The work order will now be associated with this asset.
