Sorting Items - Warehouse Inventory

Sorting Stock Items - List View
Since there are different views within the Warehouse Inventory module, it is important to follow the steps for the specific view you would like to manipulate. "List View" is a simplified view that lets you see multiple stock items with a few of their key details. For more information on different views please view the following article >>

To sort stock items within "List View" you will use the tools in the top bar. The top bar looks like the image below.
Tool | Function |
Top Bar | - Allows you to switch view, sort items, and select all items.

Sort Button
| - Clicking the sort button changes the order that items are displayed. When the letter "A" is above the letter "Z" your items will sort from lowest to greatest value. When the "Z" is on top, they will sort from greatest value to lowest value.
- By default, numbers will be valued lower than letters. For example in a list item "1234" will be valued lower than item "R1234".

Sort Criteria | To change between different sorting criteria, click on the dropdown arrow.

How to Sort Stock Items by Name
To sort stock items by name, follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Warehouse Inventory Module by hovering over the Warehouse icon on the left hand side of the screen and clicking on "Warehouse Inventory".
- Click "List" on the top bar.
- Select "Name" from the sort criteria dropdown.
- Your items should automatically sort by the value order shown on the sort button display. If you would like to change the sort order, click the sort button.
How to Sort Stock Items by Number
To sort stock items by number, follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Warehouse Inventory Module by hovering over the Warehouse icon on the left hand side of the screen and clicking on "Warehouse Inventory".
- Click "List" on the top bar.
- Select "Number" from the sort criteria dropdown.
- Your items should automatically sort by the value order shown on the sort button display. If you would like to change the sort order, click the sort button.
How to Sort Stock Items by Cost/Unit
To sort stock items by number, follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Warehouse Inventory Module by hovering over the Warehouse icon on the left hand side of the screen and clicking on "Warehouse Inventory".
- Click "List" on the top bar.
- Select "Cost/Unit" from the sort criteria dropdown.
- Your items should automatically sort by the value order shown on the sort button display. If you would like to change the sort order, click the sort button.
How to Sort Stock Items by Manufacturer
To sort stock items by number, follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Warehouse Inventory Module by hovering over the Warehouse icon on the left hand side of the screen and clicking on "Warehouse Inventory".
- Click "List" on the top bar.
- Select "Manufacturer" from the sort criteria dropdown.
- Your items should automatically sort by the value order shown on the sort button display. If you would like to change the sort order, click the sort button.
How to Sort Stock Items by Model Number
To sort stock items by model number, follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Warehouse Inventory Module by hovering over the Warehouse icon on the left hand side of the screen and clicking on "Warehouse Inventory".
- Click "List" on the top bar.
- Select "Model Number" from the sort criteria dropdown.
- Your items should automatically sort by the value order shown on the sort button display. If you would like to change the sort order, click the sort button.
How to Sort Stock Items by Material
To sort stock items by number, follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Warehouse Inventory Module by hovering over the Warehouse icon on the left hand side of the screen and clicking on "Warehouse Inventory".
- Click "List" on the top bar.
- Select "Material" from the sort criteria dropdown.
- Your items should automatically sort by the value order shown on the sort button display. If you would like to change the sort order, click the sort button.
Sorting Stock Items - Grid View
Since there are different views within the Warehouse Inventory module, it is important to follow the steps for the specific view you would like to manipulate. "Grid View" is a more comprehensive view that lets you see your items in an excel sheet format and allows you to add advanced filters. Grid view also allows you to export your inventory to Excel. Sorting Non-Stock Items
How to Sort Non-Stock Items by Name
To sort non-stock items by name, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the Warehouse Inventory Module by hovering over the Warehouse icon on the left hand side of the screen and clicking on "Warehouse Inventory".
- Click "Non Stock List" on the top bar.
- Select "Name" from the sort criteria dropdown.
- Your items should automatically sort by the value order shown on the sort button display. If you would like to change the sort order, click the sort button.
How to Sort Non-Stock Items by Number
To sort non-stock items by number, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the Warehouse Inventory Module by hovering over the Warehouse icon on the left hand side of the screen and clicking on "Warehouse Inventory".
- Click "Non Stock List" on the top bar.
- Select "Number" from the sort criteria dropdown.
- Your items should automatically sort by the value order shown on the sort button display. If you would like to change the sort order, click the sort button.
How to Sort Non-Stock Items by Manufacturer
