Deactivate a Notification - Notifications

If you would like to stop a certain custom notification but don't want to outright delete it, you can mark that notification as inactive. To learn how to do so, follow the steps below.

Navigate to the Manage Notifications Page

To navigate to the Manage Notifications page:
  1. From the NEXGEN dashboard, click Settings in the blue sidebar to the left.
  2. Click Notifications in the blue sidebar.
  3. Click Manage Notifications.

Deactivate a Notification

To deactivate a notification:
  1. Navigate to the Manage Notifications page.
  2. Select and open a tab in the sidebar to the left.
    1. Your notification will either be located in the System Notifications, Custom Notifications, or Contractor Portal Notifications tab.
  3. Select the module where the notification you would like to deactivate is housed.

  4. On the right, locate the notification from the list and click the Edit pencil icon.
  5. Uncheck the Active checkbox.
  6. Click Save. This notification will no longer trigger until it is reactivated.
