Work Order Compliance - Work Order
Compliance notes in NEXGEN allow users to note items relevant to compliance on a work order record, such as LOTO assets or outages, all in one spot. This is useful for noting whether a work order has the potential to impact things such as safety or business, as well as for data recording purposes. For more information on our compliance flags and their logic, please see Compliance Flags Overview - Advanced Features.
Navigating to a Work Order
To navigate to a work order for which you would like to add compliance-related notes:
- From the main task bar, click Maintenance > Work Order.
- Select an existing work order record or create a new one using the +New button at the top left of the module.
- If you are creating a new work order, click "Save" after entering all its details. Compliance notes can only be added when a work order has been created, not during its creation.
Editing Work Order Compliance Details
Compliance details can be found in the Action menu of an existing work order. To get to Compliance:
- Click "Action" at the top right of the module.
- Click "Compliance."
- A pop-up will appear where you can fill out the compliance details. Fill them out as needed.
- The drop-down menus will only be editable if their respective checkboxes are marked; e.g. you can only note the safety impact level if "Safety" is checked off.
- Click "Save" to save your changes.
- A note in red will be visible on the work order to let users know at a glance if something includes safety assets, involves a LOTO, etc.
