Allow User to Edit Specific GIS Attributes
There might be certain attributes of a layer that users should not be allowed to edit.
GIS administrators can specify which GIS attributes can be edited by users per layer.
This ability gives the GIS administrator more precise control over which attributes can be edited within a layer.
Note: You must use feature service in order to allow editing.
- From home screen, click Settings > Integration > GIS.
- Click the layer for which you would like to manage attributes.
- Click Edit on the GIS Attributes (to be shown in Asset Inventory)
- For each attribute, check the “Allow Edit” box per attribute. Note – the “View” box must be checked in order to allow editing.
- Click Save.
