Inspections in List View

Inspections are records within NEXGEN designed to assess various aspects of an asset. Generally these were previously paper forms required by an organization or outside party. Learn which information is visible for inspections while in list view. Learn ways to make finding inspections easier such as sorting, searching, and filtering.

View Inspections in List View

  1. Navigate to the Inspection module. Click Assets > Inspection.

  3. View basic information about inspections in list view such as
    • Number
    • Date
    • Asset
    • Inspection Type
    • Lead Worker
    • Supervisor
    • Status

 

Sort Inspections

Sort inspections according to your viewing preferences. Inspections can be sorted by date or number. 

  1. Navigate to the Inspection module. Click Assets > Inspection.
  2. Click the List icon in the top right (if not already in list view by default). 
  3. Select sort criteria from the dropdown.

Search Inspections

Search to find an individual inspection. Search by number, date, asset name, or comments.

  1. Navigate to the Inspection module. Click Assets > Inspection.
  2. Click the List icon in the top right (if not already in list view by default). 
  3. Select search criteria from the dropdown.
  4. Type text (or select value) in the text box.

Filter Inspections

Filter inspections using the tree filter to limit the list of inspections shown to the right.

  1. Navigate to the Inspection module. Click Assets > Inspection.
  2. Click the List icon in the top right (if not already in list view by default). 
  3. Choose an Inspection Type from the dropdown.
