Delete a PM Schedule - PM

If you need to delete an existing PM schedule, you can do so from either the parent or child PM. See below for instructions on how to do so. To learn how to distinguish between parent and child PMs, see here.

Navigate to the Preventive Maintenance Module

To navigate to the PM module:
  1. From the NEXGEN dashboard, click Maintenance in the blue sidebar to the left.
  2. Click Preventive Maintenance.

Delete a PM Schedule from a Parent PM Record

You can delete a PM schedule from a parent PM record. To do so:
  1. Open a parent PM record in the Preventive Maintenance module.

  2. Scroll down to the Schedule zone.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow next to the schedule you would like to delete.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Click Delete again to confirm.

Delete a PM Schedule from a Child PM Record

Child PMs in NEXGEN are synonymous to PM schedules. If you are viewing the details of a schedule of a PM in NEXGEN, you are viewing a child PM. For more information, see this article on the difference between parent PMs, child PMs, and single PMs.

To delete a schedule from a child PM record:
  1. Open a child PM record.
    1. Do this by scrolling to the Schedule zone of a parent PM, then clicking on the schedule you would like to edit (right).
  2. Click Delete in the top right.
  3. Click Delete again to confirm.
