Create a New Work Order from an Asset Record - Asset Inventory

One method to create work orders in NEXGEN is to do so directly from an asset record. This is useful if you like locating specific assets in the Asset Inventory module. For directions on how to do this, see the steps below.

Navigate to the Asset Inventory Module

To navigate to the Asset Inventory module:
  1. In the top left of the screen, tap the three line icon to open the navigation menu.
  2. Tap Asset Inventory.

Create a New Work Order from an Asset Record

To create a new work order from an asset record:
  1. Navigate to the Asset Inventory module.
  2. Locate and select an asset to view its asset record.
  3. In the asset record, tap the three dot icon in the top right.
  4. Tap New WO.
  5. Fill in the details of the work order.
  6. Tap Save. The new work order will have the asset you chose attached to it.
