Add Items Attached to an Asset to a Parent PM - PM

If you have previously attached an item to an asset, you can quickly add that item to a parent PM ifs associated asset is attached to that PM. See below for instructions on how to do so.

Navigate to the Preventive Maintenance Module

To navigate to the Preventive Maintenance module:
  1. From the NEXGEN dashboard, click Maintenance in the blue sidebar to the left.
  2. Click Preventive Maintenance.

Add Items Attached to an Asset to a Parent PM

To add items attached to an asset to a parent PM:
  1. Go to the Preventive Maintenance module.
  2. Open a parent PM record.
    1. Ensure this parent PM has an asset attached that is already associated with items.
  3. Scroll to the Items zone.
  4. Click +Add to bring up a pop-up menu where you can select items to add.
  5. Click the Items Attached to Asset button at the top of the pop-up.

  6. A list of the items attached to the PM asset will show. Select the item(s) using the checkbox(es).
  7. Click Attach.
  8. Adjust the number of units.
  9. Click Attach to save.
