The Preventive Maintenance module in NEXGEN allows users to link unscheduled PMs to each other to create a long PM train. When one PM WO closes, the next one fires off. PM trains are applicable to many different types of scenarios; for example, it might be useful to link PMs together if maintenance for one building should happen after maintenance for another, or if pipe cleaning happens in various zones in succession but completion times for each zone vary. Navigate to the Preventive Maintenance Module
To navigate to the Preventive Maintenance module:
- From the NEXGEN dashboard, click Maintenance.
- Click Preventive Maintenance.
Link PM Records
To link PM records together in the Preventive Maintenance module:
- Open a PM record that has a schedule attached to it.
- Scroll to the Schedule zone.
- Click the drop-down arrow next to a schedule.
- Click Link New PM or Link Existing PM.
- If you are linking a new PM, enter the details for the new PM and click Save.
- If you are linking an existing PM, select the PM(s) you would like to link in the pop-up that appears. Use the search and filter options to narrow the list of PMs, if applicable. Then, click Attach.
