Link a Work Order to an Existing Service Request - Work Order

Generally, when a service request issue becomes a work order, the work order is created from the service request. However, if a work order was created separately, you can link the service request to the work order afterward. 

Note: Currently, users are unable to unlink service requests and work orders. For more information, contact us at support@nexgenam.com.

Link an Existing Service Request

To link an existing service request:

    Within the work order, click the Action dropdown in the top right corner. 
  2. Click "Existing Service Requests."
  3. Locate the service request by filtering or searching. 
  4. Select the checkbox of the service request you would like to link. 
  5. Click "Attach."
  6. Click "Attach" again.

 Note: You can go to the linked service request from the work order record and vice versa using the hyperlinks that are added to the records after they are linked.
