Preventive May-tenance: Let's Talk Best Practices - How to Build a PM From Scratch

Webinar Summary

During this webinar, we went over how to build a PM from beginning to end. Some recommendations we talked about were:
  1. Trimming down PMs to be as efficient and applicable to your workflow as possible
  2. Using naming or numbering conventions for easy identification
  3. Using the Show All toggle to assess whether a new PM is needed, or if it is an already existing inactive PM record
  4. Setting the Requested By field to the person who originally created the PM or attributing the field to a placeholder employee (e.g., "PM Requester") 
  5. Adding assets to a PM to have them automatically attach to work orders that fire from that PM
