Import Equipment Data

Import Equipment Data

  1. Go to Settings > Data Import
  2. Click on Equipment from the list of modules
  3. Click Download Template
  4. The spreadsheet columns are the following and pertains to the fields in Nexgen
    • EquipmentNumber (only will show when Auto Number is off) - Equipment Number
    • IsActive - Active Checkbox
    • Manufacturer - Manufacturer
    • RateUnit - Rate Unit
    • Comments - Comments
    • Regular - Regular Pay Rate
  5. Go back to Data Import tool in Nexgen
  6. Click on Equipment
  7. Click Upload Data
  8. If the data on the screen looks like the way you want it, then click Import Data
  9. If any errors, then click on Download Error Data to Excel
  10. Fix the issues on the spreadsheet and re-import the file
  11. Check in Equipment module to make sure the Equipment(s) imported are showing in the module
