Create a New Inspection - Inspection

You can fill out inspection forms using the Inspection module in the NEXGEN Android app. These inspection forms allow you to collect information about an asset using a custom form created by your organization. Each form is unique to its inspection type and typically houses its different fields in expandable headers. To see how to create and fill out an inspection form, see the instructions below.

Navigate to the Inspection Module

To navigate to the Inspection module:
  1. In the top left, tap the three line icon to open the navigation menu.
  2. Tap Inspection.

Create a New Inspection

To create a new inspection:
  1. Navigate to the Inspection module.
  2. Tap the + in the bottom right.
  3. Fill out the Type and Asset fields. Updating the inspection type will change the fields you will need to fill out.
  4. Fill out the empty fields. Mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk.
  5. Tap Save in the top right.
