Create Additional Meter Type Options

Create Additional Meter Type Options

  1. Go to Settings > Setup > Lookups 
  2. On the LHS, locate Asset Inventory from the tree, and click the arrow to expand
  3. Click Meter Type 
  4. Click the + Add icon in Meter zone
  5. Add a Meter Type, Whether or not Lower Readings are allowed, Sort Order and check Active 
  6. Click the Blue Checkmark icon to save 
To see new type, go to the Asset Inventory module, and open an Asset record 
  • Click + Add on the Meter Reading zone 
  • Click Meter Type drop down 
  • New Meter Type will now be available
