View & Create Inspections for Asset

Inspections are forms within NEXGEN that are filled out to assess various aspects of an asset. Within an asset record, view current and historical inspection history. Create new inspections for the asset directly from the asset record.

View Inspections for Asset

  1. Open an asset record and scroll to the Inspection zone. 
  2. View current and historical inspections associated with this asset by MTD (month-to-date), YTD (year-to-date), or LTD (life-to-date). Screen_Shot_2020-02-26_at_2.40.44_PM.png
  3. Filter inspections by clicking the funnel icon at the top of a column. Select an operator and type text to filter. To clear an existing filter, click the funnel icon and select Clear. Screen_Shot_2020-02-26_at_2.42.21_PM.png

Note - by default, all inspections for the parent and child assets are shown. Inspections for child assets are denoted with a building icon. To view work orders for parent asset only, enable "Show Inspection for Current Asset". 

 

Create New Inspection for Asset

  1. Create a new inspection for this asset by clicking + Add.Screen_Shot_2020-02-26_at_2.43.37_PM.png
  2. Select Inspection Type.
