In part two of this series on backflow, we went over things you can do in NEXGEN to set up or improve your backflow processes, including workflows, configuration, and Contractor Portal usage.
Backflow Setup and Configuration: We showed you how to enable the Backflow module on your site as well some tips and tricks on how to get it set up.
Backflow Workflows: We discussed five different sample workflows you might use when using NEXGEN to handle backflow:
Organization manages their own backflow device testing (no Contractor Portal)
Organization has an approved list of contractors who complete backflow device testing (no Contractor Portal)
Organization has an approved list of contractors who complete backflow device testing (with Contractor Portal)
Organization has approved list of contractors who complete backflow testing AND manage their own backflow
Backflow in the Contractor Portal: We also showed the Contractor Portal as it appears on the web and how it can tie into your backflow processes via its backflow inspection capabilities.
