NAMI PM Builder Overview
The NAMI PM Builder allows users to import PM checklist items from an OEM manual. When the NAMI PM Builder is enabled, this is done by clicking Upload in the Checklist zone, then uploading the manual and setting the page range for its maintenance section. Above, you can see an example of checklist items created by using the PM builder.

Why Use the NAMI PM Builder?
The NAMI PM Builder is a quicker and more efficient way to build checklists on PMs than typical manual creation. It's useful for saving time, gives you an easy way to control what content is processed, and reduces manual effort when setting up PMs.

Can Anybody Use the PM Builder?
No--this feature is permission and company option based. To enable the NAMI PM Builder for your site, you must first reach out to support@nexgenam.com and express your interest in it. Our team will work to enable the feature for you and include you in our first rounds of beta testing and feedback.
Once the PM Builder company option is enabled, you must enable access for specific user groups by updating their permissions. Even with the PM Builder enabled, System Administrators can control which users have access to the feature. By default, only System and Domain Administrators will have access to the NAMI PM Builder. To enable for other users:
- Go to Settings > User Groups.
- Select the user group that should have access (e.g., Planner, Supervisor, etc.).
- Scroll down to the Preventive Maintenance permissions section.
- Enable OEM PM Builder by selecting the checkbox.

How to Get Started with the PM Builder
If you haven't already, please reach out to support@nexgenam.com to get access to the company option and we will assist you with setup for testing of this beta feature.
NEXGEN and Data Privacy
The NAMI PM Builder uses the developer version of Google Gemini -- not the public version -- to read and create checklists. Checklists created and manuals uploaded via the NAMI PM Builder are not shared with the public version of Gemini.
