Manually Generate a Work Order from a PM - PM

Users can create work orders from PMs by navigating to the PM Module and clicking Work Order in the applicable PM record. This is typically done when a PM work order needs to be fired ahead of schedule.

Navigate to the Preventive Maintenance Module

1. Click Maintenance in the blue sidebar.
   
2. Click Preventive Maintenance.
   

Manually Generate a Work Order from a PM

Note: The PM you are firing must have a schedule attached.

1. 

   Ensure that you are in List View. Click List View > Preventive Maintenance in the top right. 
2. Open the preventive maintenance record you want to generate a work order from.
   
3. Select a schedule. 
4. 
   In the top right corner, click Work Order.
   
5. In the pop-up, select whether you would like to postpone or keep the existing PM.
   
1. Postponing the PM will fire the PM on the date listed in the pop-up.
   
2. Keeping the existing PM will allow the PM to fire as was originally scheduled.
   
6. Your work order will generate. Locate the work order by scrolling to the Work Order section of the PM or by navigating to the Work Order module.
