Mandatory UDFs at Status Change - User Defined

User-defined fields (UDFs) can now be made mandatory at any status change on service requests and work orders. For example, certain UDFs might be required in order to Complete the work order vs Close the work order.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Setup > User Defined.
  2. Choose where you want to create your UDF:
    • Select either Service Request or Work Order to make UDFs for all service requests or work orders, respectively.
    • Select a department to make UDFs mandatory for all service requests or work orders in that department.
    • Click the specific service request type or work order task to make UDFs for all service requests or work orders with that type or task.
  3. Click + Add to add a new user-defined field or click dropdown arrow to edit the details of an existing UDF.Screen_Shot_2020-01-31_at_10.24.09_AM.png
