Getting Started on the iPhone

Our Nexgen iPhone app 

Our Nexgen mobile app allows you to access the Nexgen software on the go. To learn more about the app as well as how to install it on your phone, please look below.

Downloading the iPhone App

Before you can start using the iPhone app on your phone you need to download it from the Apple App store.  To download the app follow the steps below.
  1. Locate the Apple App store on your iPhone and click on the app icon.
  2. Click on the search icon in the app store and search for "Nexgen mobile". The NEXGEN app should look like the NEXGEN logo.
  3. Click on the "Get" button to download the app. (If the "Get" button says "Open" instead, you have already downloaded the application.)
  4. You will be asked to confirm your download. Do so by following the prompts on your screen. You may have to click on "Install" and then enter your Apple ID password and then sign in.
  5. Once you have downloaded your app, you should be able to open it and start using it.

Logging in to the iPhone App

 To start using the NEXGEN app on your phone, you must first configure your URL. Please follow the steps below to log into your app for the first time.

  1. Open the NEXGEN app on your phone.
  2. On the login screen click on "Settings". 
  3. Enter your company's unique NEXGEN URL and click save. (Make sure the SSL slider is selected if your web URL contains "https://" at the beginning , if it does not and your URL starts with "http://" make sure the slider is off. You do not need to enter "https://" or "http://" at the beginning of your URL. The slider will automatically configure your URL.) ​
  4. Click "Save".
  5. Enter your username and password.
  6. Click on "Login".
  7. Your login should now be configured. The next time you log in, you will not need to configure your URL. You can log in by only entering your username and password.
