Fire One Work Order Per Asset from a PM
When the “One WO per Asset” option is enabled, one work order will be fired for each asset on a preventive maintenance (PM) schedule. For example, if you have a PM with 50 assets attached, 50 work orders with a single asset attached will fire when the PM schedule is triggered. This is useful if you will be assigning the maintenance of individual assets to different people within the system. This feature can be enabled per schedule. For example, a monthly PM can fire one work order per asset while an annual PM will fire all assets on one work order.
- Navigate to the Preventive Maintenance module. Click Maintenance > Preventive Maintenance.
- Create a new or open an existing PM record.
- If opening an existing PM and schedules have been configured, click a schedule.
- Click Edit on the top zone.
- Check the checkbox labeled One WO per Asset.
- Click Save.
