Find Asset Using Hierarchy Trees

Assets are organized in two ways: in a location hierarchy tree and in a class hierarchy tree. You can use either tree to locate any asset.

Find Asset Using the Location or Class Hierarchy Tree

  1. Navigate to the Asset Inventory Module. Click Assets > Asset Inventory.
  2. Click either Location or Class
  3. Click the dropdown arrows to continue drilling down deeper into the tree.
  4. Click at any level of the tree to populate assets in that location/class on the right side of the screen. 
  5. Click an asset (unbolded text) from the hierarchy trees to load the asset record on the right side of the screen.
