Edit the 311 Portal Banner Text - NEXGEN 311

As of April 2024, users are able to edit the text presented in the new 311 Portal announcement banner. You can use this space to bring attention to things such as important information, hyperlinks, event dates, and more. For instructions on how to do so, see below.

Edit the 311 Portal Banner Text

Tip: You can enter a link in the banner using HTML. Use the following format: <a href="url">link text</a>

To edit the text displayed in the 311 Portal banner:
  1. From the NEXGEN Dashboard, click Settings in the blue navigation bar to the left.
  2. Click Integrations.
  3. Click NEXGEN 311.
  4. Click Label Captions.
  5. Under the Field Name column, locate lblNavbar-1 and click the Edit button next to it.
  6. Edit the display text by typing in the Caption box.
  7. Click Save in the bottom right.
