When adding asset(s) that have similar information and attributes to an existing asset, use the Clone Asset feature to create copies of an existing asset record.

Clone an Asset

1. Open the Asset record that you would like to copy.
2. Click the Action dropdown in the upper right hand corner.
3. Select Clone.
4. Confirm correct location is selected; if not, click the + button to select proper location.
5. Enter Number of Clones to be created.
6. Click Go.
7. Unique asset numbers are automatically generated for each clone. Edit the asset numbers, if desired.
8. The asset names are autofilled with the asset name of the existing asset. Edit the asset name, if desired. 
9. Enter a unique QR Code for each clone.
10. Select appropriate items to clone (Docs, Images, WO History, PM, Parts List, Comments, Asset Attributes).
11. Click Save.

Once clones are created, navigate to the asset record to modify any asset information or attributes.
