Clone a Layer - Configurations

Cloning a layer saves time when setting up the GIS integration. If you are importing layers with the same rest URL, you can clone the layer and then specify the resource definition, layer name, unique column name, etc. 

Clone a Layer

  1. Navigate to the GIS Integration module.
    1. From the NEXGEN dashboard, click Settings > Integration > GIS.
  2. Select a layer using the hierarchy tree to the left.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow next to "Edit" in the top right.
  4. Click "Clone Layer."
  5. Confirm that the copied information is correct.
  6. Fill in the layer details.
    1. Select the layer name.
    2. Select a unique column name.
    3. Fill in any other information as needed.
  7. Click "Save."
