Cache Data - iPad

As of the April 2024 release, you can cache data for a number of benefits, including:
  1. Faster offline performance.
  2. The ability to add assets and items offline.

Cache Data for Offline Mode

To cache data for Offline Mode:
  1. Tap on the NEXGEN Hot Spot.
  2. Tap Cache Data.
  3. Select the data you would like to cache in the pop-up that appears, then tap Done.
    1. Tap on Asset Inventory to select some or all assets in the system. You can select from your asset location tree.
    2. Tap on Warehouse Inventory to select some or all warehouse items in the system. You can select by item category.
  4. Once you have tapped Done, a Sync Now button will appear next to Asset Inventory or Warehouse Inventory depending on what you have selected to cache. Tap it to cache the selected data.

    1. You can also schedule a data sync according to the data you have selected. For information on this, see Create a Data Cache Sync Schedule - iPad.
  5. At this point, your data is cached and ready to be used offline.
