Benefits of Using a WO Template
Pre-Filled Work Order Fields
WO Templates can have assets, resources, items, and attachments pre-added so that end-users can focus on adjusting only needed fields. For example, the WO Template visible in the image below was created for the Garbage Division. This WO generates with the Department, Division, Main Task, Supervisor, and Lead filled in. This specific WO also has a description field filled in with a reminder to fill in the description of the issue in the description box.
System Wide Use
WO templates can be created an used across your NEXGEN site. One user can create multiple WO templates that all users can benefit from. In the image below, a WO template was created for the Engineering Department. Users can create a WO from a template with most relevant fields filled in.
Supervisors and System Administrators can create WO templates to standardize how different departments receive requests from others.
