Attach Parts to an Asset

Attaching parts to an asset saves time when filling out a work order for this asset. When adding parts to a work order for this asset, this allows you to use the "Parts Attached to Asset" filter to see the specific parts you need.

Attach Parts to an Asset

  1. Open an Asset record 
  2. Click + Attach Parts button on the Parts zone of the asset. 
  3. Locate and select part(s) by clicking checkbox(es).
  4. Click Attach. 
  5. Mark part(s) as Critical if necessary.   
  6. Confirm selection by clicking Attach.

Delete Part from Asset Record

  1. Hover over the right hand side of the part until a minus sign icon appears. 
  2. Click the minus sign icon. 
  3. Click Ok to confirm delete.
