Add User Defined Fields to Equipment

Add User Defined Fields to Equipment

1)      Go to the Settings module 

2)      Go to Setup > User Defined 

3)      On the left side of the screen, locate User Defined from the tree, and click the arrow to expand 

4)      Select Equipment 

5)      Click the + Add icon 

6)      Enter desired information for Name, Caption, FieldType, Length, DataType, Mandatory, Editable, Calculated, Hidden, Calculation Formula, SortOrder, ShowInGrid and ShowInFilter  

7)      Click the Blue Checkmark icon to save 

8)      To see new User Defined Field, go to the Equipment module, and open an Equipment record 

9)      New User Defined Field will be visible in the User Defined Fields section
