Store Module Overview (Controlled Inventory)
The Store module in NEXGEN is where you can order items from your warehouse inventory in a format similar to an online storefront. The intention is to simplify the checkout process for NEXGEN users using a familiar format. Items in your warehouse inventory can be toggled to show as purchasable in the Store module by system administrators.
Navigate to the Store Module
To navigate to the Store module:
- From the NEXGEN dashboard, click on Warehouse in the blue task bar to the left.
- Click Store.
Store Module at a Glance
By default, the Store module displays available items in a grid view for easy viewing. You can toggle list view by clicking List in the top right corner of the module.
For each entry, you can see a photo of the item, its cost, and its available quantity. You can use the search and filter options on the left to narrow the amount of items you see, or use the sort drop-down at the top to sort by specific parameters. See below for instructions on how to add items to your cart and check them out.
