Add, Replace, or Delete an Asset Photo - Asset Inventory

You can add photos to assets in NEXGEN. This makes looking through the Asset Inventory module much more convenient.

Add an Asset Photo

To add a photo to an asset:

    Open an asset record
  2. Hover the cursor over the asset image placeholder (the building icon in the top left of the record).
  3. Click on the + button that appears.
  4. Select the photo you want to add from your computer.
  5. Click "Open."

View an Existing Asset Photo

To view an asset photo that is already attached to a record:
  1. Hover over the asset photo.
  2. Click the eye icon.
  3. A window will pop up with the enlarged photo.

Replace an Asset Photo

Even if there is already a photo uploaded to an asset record, you can replace the photo with a new one. To do so:
  1. Open an asset record.
  2. Hover over the existing asset photo.
  3. Click the + button that appears.
  4. Select the photo you would like to upload from your computer.
  5. Click "Open."

Delete an Asset Photo

You can delete an asset photo if you no longer want that photo attached to the asset record. To do this:
  1. Open an asset record.
  2. Hover over the existing asset photo.
  3. Click the Delete button.
  4. Click "Ok" to confirm.
