Add or Edit GIS Assets

Add or delete GIS assets directly in the GIS module. Or, edit the placement or attributes for existing GIS assets. Note - you must have the correct user permissions and the GIS administrator must enable GIS attributes to be editable in order to use this tool. Changes will sync directly with the GIS database.

 

Edit Attributes for Existing GIS Assets

  1. Navigate to the GIS Module. Click Assets > GIS.

  3. Select an asset to view existing GIS attributes. 
  4. Change the desired attributes. 
  5. Click Save.

Create a New Asset

  1. Navigate to the GIS Module. Click Assets > GIS.
  2. Click the Edit Feature Tool (pencil icon) from the toolbar.Screen_Shot_2020-10-05_at_3.19.25_PM.png

  4. Click to plot the new asset at the correct location on the map. 
  5. Fill in the asset attributes.

Delete an Asset

  1. Navigate to the GIS Module. Click Assets > GIS.
  2. Click the Edit Feature Tool (pencil icon) from the toolbar. Screen_Shot_2020-10-05_at_3.19.25_PM.png
  3. Select an asset. 
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Click Delete again to confirm.

Change an Asset's Location

  1. Navigate to the GIS Module. Click Assets > GIS.
  2. Click the Edit Feature Tool (pencil icon) from the toolbar. Screen_Shot_2020-10-05_at_3.19.25_PM.png
  3. Click and drag the desired asset to a new location. 
  4. Click Save to confirm the asset's new location.
