Add, Modify, & Delete Assets on a Work Order

Assets are crucial to a work orders as they are the subject of the maintenance being performed on the work order. Ideally, every work order will have at least one asset attached.

Add Assets to a Work Order

  1. Click the + Add button on the Assets zone of the work order. 
  2. Find asset(s) by searching, filtering, or using the hierarchy trees. 
  3. Select desired asset(s).
  4. Click Attach.

Sort Assets on a Work Order

The Sort Assets feature allows you to change the order in which the assets appear on the work order.

  1. Click Sort Assets
  2. Click the 6 dots to the left of the asset number (appears once you hover over) and drag to the desired location.
  3. Click Save.

 

Complete Assets on a Work Order

Once maintenance has been performed on assets, they should be marked Complete. Assets can be marked complete 1-by-1 by checking the Complete box or all assets can be marked complete by clicking Complete All.

NEXGEN Tip: You can hide completed assets by clicking "Hide Complete"

 

Edit or Delete Assets from a Work Order

  1. Click the dropdown arrow on a particular asset. 
  2. Select Edit to edit the completion status, completion date, or add comments to the asset. 
  3. Select Delete to delete the asset from the work order.
