Add Attachments and URLs Using the Document Library - Document Library
Aside from adding attachments to their site's records, users have the ability to add documents directly to the Document Library. You can add files or URLs by following the steps in this article.
Navigate to the Document Library
To navigate to the Document Library:
- Click "Settings" in the blue task bar.
- Click "Document Library."
Add Attachments
Attachments can be added by following these steps:
- From the Document Library, click "Add Attachment" at the top left of the module.
- Click "Add File" or drag and drop files from your computer to add up to five items to the document library.
- Add a description and category to each file, if needed.
- Click "Save."
Add URLs
You can also add URLs through the Document Library. To do so:
- Click "Add URL" at the top left of the module.
- A pop up will appear. Enter the URL information here.
- Click "Attach" when finished.
- If you want to visit the URL after adding it to the library, click the drop-down arrow next to the document in the list, then click "View."
- You can also click "View" from the document details on the right after selecting the document from the list.
